I passed up their Lolla pre-show which I heard was amazing so I scored tickets right away for their November return to Chicago at the House of Blues. Should be a pretty good way to celebrate my birthday! If only it wasn’t on a Monday…

The late show sold out before I got my shit together, so I’m going to the 6:30 show. I saw this young Canadian at Pitchfork and he was awesome. I’m looking forward to this one. Bonus – I can be drunk and home by 10:00 pm.

To be honest, I’m probably going to be pretty haggard at this point after 5 consecutive days of shows, culminating with Lollapalooza. But if somehow I’m magically alive, I’ll come check out this rad Chicago natives for free in Millennium Park.
