His new solo album, Regions of Light and Sound of God, is great and is currently streaming for free on NPR’s First Listen.

Sixto Rodriguez is coming to the Arie Crown Theatre for a show put together by the good people at Schuba’s and Lincoln Hall. If you haven’t seen Searching for Sugar Man yet, you should really check out his story of great early 70s records that flopped in the US, unknown fame in South Africa and the hunt for the mysterious man from Detroit.
